Festival de Fresa 🍓

 Hey! Hows it goin!?

This week was a good week, as always.

We had a great week full of adventure and some great lessons with great progression. At the beginning of the week, we were able to go to some sand dunes that are down here in my area as a district. It was very very fun and we enjoyed some sand boarding.
Here in the area, there are tons n tons of strawberry fields here and the majority of those that we teach works in these fields, contract just opened up and wowza lots of work. They have a festival here as well called festival de fresa and we were able to get a big family history center in the festival with computers n everything! The stake was in on it and we had the family history consultante run it and we got to help out! Super super fun and really enjoyed it. We couldnt go in missionary clothing because we would look like la migra:/. But ya!!

We saw the first baptism in mixtec as well this week. Great things are happening, i got to do his baptismal interview which was really cool as well. Using very basic spanish and some mixteco as well. Wish i knew more haha. Met a couple really cool people this week but lots and lots of rejection. Like lots haha. This area is definitely a tough area, no recent converts are in my area either but what can ya do.

There was another rule adjustment by the church and we went back to the old rules of communication so communication with friends is through email or letter. But i can look and react at messages whenever! Also my preparation day will be changing soon. Thank you all for your love a support ill see you soon!
