Back to the Clanker

 This week was pretty awesome. My Spanish is growing and so are the people in our area. We actually had some pretty awesome breakthroughs this week. This week ya know my spanish is not good but I am really trying hard. We had a couple days this week where we did not speak english which was cool but I still have to work on being comfortable talking to like other missionaries in spanish and stuff. But our area is awesome right now. 

I think I mentioned Angel last time in my email and we met his younger sister isabella. They had come to church in the past and we got them to church last week. We taught them again and we showed them the video of Christ being baptized and after Isabella told us to baptize her. It was actually really cool. Isabella is only 9 and Angel is 13. They seriously retain information like none other and I am so excited for them. They want to be baptized so we just need to talk to their mom. Their mom isn't a member but she brings them to church and her mom, Angel's grandma, is a member already. The mom has already expressed interest as well and we are super excited. 

Ramon said he wants to get baptized too!! He leaves for Mexico really soon though and returns on the 5th of February and so when he comes back he said he wants to be baptized! He seriously is ready for the Gospel. I found him last transfer and I have taught him ever since. He thanks me constantly for finding him and bringing him this joy. I cannot wait for Ramon to be baptized. I just hope it happens and Satan doesn't interfere.

This week we also met the brother of Pedro. I mentioned Pedro a while ago when he asked for a come follow me and we thought he was elect and stuff and then turned psycho and started doing not cool things. So we stopped by his house this week to see if he was ok and His brother answered saying Pedro went to jail!! He has already been to jail before but this time it was because he broke his probation and he also hit his brother. So now we are teaching his brother a little bit. Crazy stuff.

I also got to go on exchanges again this week with my amazing District leader Elder Emmit which was so fun. He leaves this transfer and I am sad to say bye to him but we are definitely going to hang out after my mission. He is awesome. The last thing this week was we had a lesson with the Vaca family which is a wonderful family we are teaching 2 adults and 2 kids. Last time they pulled out an accordion and The dad can play!! He let me borrow it for the week and I am trying to learn. I don't have a lot of time though which is rough. But they invited us over for dinner tomorrow so we are excited!!

I have been reading in 3rd Nephi which is in the Book of Mormon, and boy is that my favorite book haha. The Book of Mormon alone proves that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church on the earth today. I was reading about when Jesus Christ visits the people in America. He talks of his servants and in chapter 21 verse 10. Go read it. I am a servant of God. Even though I may be hurt by others words and cast out and threatened, the lord's wisdom is greater than the cunning of the devil.
