 Hey!! Hows it goin??


This week was a good week, as always. 

This week was kinda just like any other missionary week. Exciting twists and turns and ups and downs. But we are here!!

We had interviews with President this week and they were probably the best interviews I have had with him since I have been here. We talked a lot about the priesthood and how God works and stuff. He told me some cool stories too.

Lots of our friends sadly are slowly falling. As you know, we have extended baptismal dates to lots of our friends but they constantly keep telling us that they want to wait. We dont know why, they are all ready. We have 4 or 5 friends who have decided to wait for reasons unknown. They are now slowly decreasing. We are doing our best to keep their progression on the upward slope. We are doing lots of filtering now. 

This week was a little better for finding people to teach. Before, literally the people just didnt exist. No one home, in the streets, nada. But this last weekend it picked up. Schol already started again here which is crazy. But we had walk day this past Saturday and boy was it hot! 95 or so and walking was a good time!! We talked to some great people and had lots of success. 

Yesterday, for Gospel Principles class, we got a text at 640 saying we needed to teach the class that started at 7. It was a little rough but turned into the best gospel principles class ever! We taught a little bit about the temples and mainly focused on ordenanzas and convenios. We taught about so much and it tied together so well!!

This week on... WhaT We CoOkInG??
This week we cooked a lot! First we have:
Homemade Taquitos! Fresh slowcooked salsa chicken wrapped in corn torillas fried until crisp
Next we have: Fish tacos!
Freshly cooked tilapia in a corn tortilla, topped with homemade pico, cabbage and lime. best taco no lies
Next we have: Grilled ham n cheese. Yes I know basic. But please, not the way I make them. Ham with cream cheese buttered bread. Shredded cheese on both sides finished of with a tomatoe.

  Hey!  Hows it going???  This week was a good week, as always. This week was actually really interesting to say the least haha. Had its ups and downs and some weird intereactions. BUT... We got transfers news!! I was informed that I will be Staying!! I will be getting a new companion as well named Elder Nunley! Funny thing is that Elder Nunley was companions with Elder Nelson, (who I trained), in the Mtc! Elder Nunley was also trained by Elder Larsen who was in the trio with me in my first companionship!! Elder Larsen is for real the best so I am excited to get his trainee. We have transfers  this tuesday  so I will let you know next week what is up. I was also asked to be the Spanish Elder Training Leader. I will miss Elder Krenkel for sure. We really enjoyed the area together. Elder Krenkel is actually going to Camarillo where I just was! Christmas!!

  Hey everyone!!! Excuse my punctuation and grammar this email because I am typing on my phone and it doesn't function sometimes soooooo haha. This week, super busy once again because you know me and my companion!!! Super good week packed of work. Ill start with some of our friends. Angel and Isabella they went to their dads house in san diego so we could not put them on date but we still are close. We took a hit this week because lots of people are leaving for christmas. Ramon is leaving the 5th as you know and not coming back for a month which sucks but it's ok. Transfers are really really close too. This is the last week of the transfer. Yea crazy I know. So i might move and get a new companion but i hope i stay with Elder Skinner. We are working really hard and have found some awesome people this week.   We did service for a hoarder today and oh boy was that rough haha. Stuff everywhere and dust and oh my gosh so bad.   Hey!  Hows it going?? This week was a good week, as always We got a lot done and a lot happened this week again. I will jump into it and talk about Gabriela. She finally got out of Quarantine, like I think I mentioned last time, and we called and set up a visit! The next day we got fellowship figured out for her and did our best to work through the rule of 3 and driving and availability. We were going to give her a church tour, even though it would have been a little weird because we meet in the tiny room in the back ahah. We set everything up... and she got hospitalized again. She had problems with her stomach and she got hospitalized. I don't know what is going on.  Miracle came out of that... kind of. A member was able to bring their family some food again so that was awesome. We also got a call from the mission office saying that Elder Nelly had a package he needed to get from the mission office because it was his birthday!! So since the visit fell we were able...
