Hey! Hows it goin??
This week is a good week, as always.
So I am here in Oxnard finally and it is so much fun I am so grateful to be here. I am going to miss those members back in simi but I will go back and visit every single one of them.
Here in Oxnard we have 5 spanish companionships working in the same area so they usually make area boundries for what companionship stays in what part of the area. At the beginning of the week we came together and made the area boundaries with the zone leaders. We opened up a new area here so we had no information or records or anything. We started off and walked quite a bit and holy cow there are so many people here it is so crazy!! We have met so many cool people and have had so many little funny experiences and cool experiences. The ward here is amazing too.
I arrived and as I do, I got to know the ward and they were asking what time they could come help for visits and asking about dinners and other things it was awesome. Although its different than simi, the ward here is so focused on missionary work it is amazing. We as missionaries sang in sacrament meeting as well and we got to sing 4 part harmony! super fun, and then i gave a 5 min little spiritual thought and forgot to use my notes. I am so grateful to be here.
My new companions name is Elder Lafferty, and he is so fun and a hard worker i love it so much. He is from Guam and living in New Mexico. We get along so amazing and things are honestly just going really well I feel like it isnt going to last long.
Currently now I am in a 4 man appt with Elder Ruesch and a new missionary named Elder Beasley. We have so much fun and I already know that the fun is going to keep going up. We saw some really amazing miracles this week with some contacts and giving blessings and we felt the spirit so strong. I had the opportunity to give a blessing to a ward member already and the spirit was amazing. We have really brought the spirit a few times this week and "changed peoples minds".
Last part is that the Cooking show by Elder Wilson has come to an end. I ran out of things to cook and now we cook and take it with us and eat as we work.
That's all I have for this week
