Mariachi Loco

 Hey! Hows it goin??


This week was a good week, as always. 

We had lots of exciting fun things happen but first I'll give an update on our friends. Cristian is doing awesome, we extended a date and he is praying about it. It is so important he receives a big conformation because he has to get married, quit drinking and smoking haha. It is crazy, please pray for him. He really accepts everything we teach and loves it. We passed off another 2 friends for sad reasons, we showed up for visitis and they had moved! They just got here from peru like 10 days ago and they already moved haha. Lupio we are going to extend a date to this week. We are really trying to build momentum here, everyone is working like 3 jobs right now it's crazy.

This week was MLC again and it was fun! We had a cereal bar for lunch and it reminded me of my families Christmas! We also got chased by a devil dog who tried to kill me. We knocked a door and a stray dog turned the corner and ran after us. My companion flipped out and ran into someone else's garage haha and then I stopped and got rid of him. 

We had exchanges on Saturday which was walk day, and we had a branch party too! We pulled up and they had 2 birthday parties going at the same time. One party had a mariachi and a street taco bar it was so good!! So fun to watch a Mariachi. Mariachi loco.

We had a branch family history night this sundayand it was amazing. We helped everyone find their ancestors and I had a really cool experience. I was helping one of my favorite members find some of her family and create her tree and through comparing and totally the spirit, we found 4 generations of lost family. While looking and trying to find family, I asked the member, do you recognize these names? She said yes, I feel them. We then continued and I asked if she knew a different name and she said That's my mom!! I told her it couldn't be because her mom was still alive. She stopped and got really excited and a little emotional and said, thats my mom's oldest baby sister who she was named after. She died when she was a baby. The member kept telling me how amazing she felt and that she could feel it all. She knew who was her family and not. I guess the Spirit is real.

This week on, WhaT We CoOKiNg??
This week not a ton but I have slow cooking white rice with a grilled tilapia filet and vegetables. Not bad!!

  Hey!  Hows it going???  This week was a good week, as always. This week was actually really interesting to say the least haha. Had its ups and downs and some weird intereactions. BUT... We got transfers news!! I was informed that I will be Staying!! I will be getting a new companion as well named Elder Nunley! Funny thing is that Elder Nunley was companions with Elder Nelson, (who I trained), in the Mtc! Elder Nunley was also trained by Elder Larsen who was in the trio with me in my first companionship!! Elder Larsen is for real the best so I am excited to get his trainee. We have transfers  this tuesday  so I will let you know next week what is up. I was also asked to be the Spanish Elder Training Leader. I will miss Elder Krenkel for sure. We really enjoyed the area together. Elder Krenkel is actually going to Camarillo where I just was! Christmas!!

  Hey everyone!!! Excuse my punctuation and grammar this email because I am typing on my phone and it doesn't function sometimes soooooo haha. This week, super busy once again because you know me and my companion!!! Super good week packed of work. Ill start with some of our friends. Angel and Isabella they went to their dads house in san diego so we could not put them on date but we still are close. We took a hit this week because lots of people are leaving for christmas. Ramon is leaving the 5th as you know and not coming back for a month which sucks but it's ok. Transfers are really really close too. This is the last week of the transfer. Yea crazy I know. So i might move and get a new companion but i hope i stay with Elder Skinner. We are working really hard and have found some awesome people this week.   We did service for a hoarder today and oh boy was that rough haha. Stuff everywhere and dust and oh my gosh so bad.   Hey!  Hows it going?? This week was a good week, as always We got a lot done and a lot happened this week again. I will jump into it and talk about Gabriela. She finally got out of Quarantine, like I think I mentioned last time, and we called and set up a visit! The next day we got fellowship figured out for her and did our best to work through the rule of 3 and driving and availability. We were going to give her a church tour, even though it would have been a little weird because we meet in the tiny room in the back ahah. We set everything up... and she got hospitalized again. She had problems with her stomach and she got hospitalized. I don't know what is going on.  Miracle came out of that... kind of. A member was able to bring their family some food again so that was awesome. We also got a call from the mission office saying that Elder Nelly had a package he needed to get from the mission office because it was his birthday!! So since the visit fell we were able...
