History at its finest
Hey!
Hows it goin!??
This week was a good week, as always.
It was a little slower. We had 2 exchanges and then I got sickkkk. We still went out when i was sick of course i just couldnt talk because of a sore throat.
We didnt have a ton but first I had an exchange with our district leader Elder Johnson. It was good! I stayed and we got a ton done. Had an awesome English class party and some great lessons. The other exchange was with a zone leader named Elder Chang! Didnt do a ton but it was a good day!!
Our friend Fernando has not let us know about a baptism date which is sad. He was going to tell us but work slammed him on the weekend and he couldnt even make it to church. Lucky is doing good but I was with Elder Chang when they had the visit so I wasnt there or in the area. She is doing good though. We had 5 to church.
Mirian is doing really well this week! Came to church and we met her husband and told us the story of how they were introduced to the church and he loves us and I see real progression with them coming up! Mirian comes to church like every other week and has been for a few months!!
This week I learned of 2 people in Santa Paula I taught that were baptized!! I'm still waiting for a couple more down there to get baptized but on the Lords time. Someone named Darrin, who is straight english, got baptized this week. Funny story is that, me and Elder Skinner found him and handed him off but I kept seeing him in the streets with Elder Robi and so we would teach him! He was convinced it was a sign from God he saw us so he asked to go to church. We got him to church then I left. He was in the process of moving to fillmore where the sisters picked him up after. As far as I know, that Darrin got baptized!! Who knows though haha. The other is Adan! I taught him while in Santa Paula and he was baptized a few weeks ago. He was a talkerrrr. Cant remember if i have already mentioned him or not haha.
For zone activity today we went to Ronald Reagen Library! Super cool, photos below.
This week on... whAt We CoOKinG??
I made sweet pork again and made a nice sweet pulled pork sandwich. Boy oh boy. Then i made Enchiladas again haha.
Other this was soft homemade macaroni, balanced perfectly with 3 different types of cheeses and a wonderful blend of seasonings.
Thats all for this week I hope all goes well!! Like i said not too much to report and not tons of time either. Have a great week I love you all!
