Shucks

 Hey!

Hows it going??

This week was a good week, as always
We got a lot done and a lot happened this week again. I will jump into it and talk about Gabriela. She finally got out of Quarantine, like I think I mentioned last time, and we called and set up a visit! The next day we got fellowship figured out for her and did our best to work through the rule of 3 and driving and availability. We were going to give her a church tour, even though it would have been a little weird because we meet in the tiny room in the back ahah. We set everything up... and she got hospitalized again. She had problems with her stomach and she got hospitalized. I don't know what is going on.

Miracle came out of that... kind of. A member was able to bring their family some food again so that was awesome. We also got a call from the mission office saying that Elder Nelly had a package he needed to get from the mission office because it was his birthday!! So since the visit fell we were able to go down.

We did more boothing this week and it was fun. We advertised English class and it didn't work too well. Didn't get anyone interested talking to us and no one was really interested, but we did try clipboard contacting and white board contacting which is basically using questions not from your mouth to take the attention off of you. That didn't work too well either. We met some awesome people though and we have some kind of potential going. Our english class has improved a lot and we got some new students going.

We have lots of service this next week and we are excited. We did a lot of service this week too though. We chopped some wood and cleaned a backyard. I found 35 pound dumbbells too so that will be awesome for the future. We still go to the gym every day which is such a blessing. I have dropped more than 2 pant sizes and I havent lost a single pound. Huge blessing for real, I have definitely visually seen a difference and stayed healthy on the mission and I am so grateful.

Now today on... Waht we coOkin!?

This week we took a different road and started off with another delicious casserole. I will say that this casserole was one of the best I have ever had. Veggies sauce tater tots, hmmmmm.
Next on this list we have... Stuffed peppers
topped with melted cheese, with homemade mexican rice and beans stuffed and baked to perfection.
Then, and I will do this next week better, sweet pork burritos. I won't spoil nothing but we did some this week and I will show you in the emails that come.

Spiritual thought this week, I finished the book Saints this week and I was marvelled at the fact how persistent the people were with their covenants and their relationships etc. These men were leaving on missions as their family was literally getting mobbed and run out of town. On top of that, their families and friends back home held on to their relationship with them so much and knew that it was the lord's work. Lots of cool simple doctrinal truths as well but I liked that part the most for you all. Especially as the summer has started and many will hopefully go on missions!

I love you all, thank you all for the support!! Have a good week!
