The grind

 Hey!! Hows it goin??


This week was a good week as always.

We grinded this week and we did a ton of walking and we did a ton of contacting. We walked for probably about 6 hours a day this week and it reached 110 degrees this week. we have now touched almost every single dot in our area book now and we are still on the grind. We are still fully booked with lessons but we always always always stop by and they either arent there or something comes up. It is a little tough. We still have had some great visits though.

Lourdes is doing great and we have another visit with her today. She is progressing really well and she has had some very weird dreams and such. The tribe of manasseh, you know what I am saying?? She is doing really well though, she is suppperrr nice and has lots of interest. The lessons go a little slower but not going to lie, I like them like that. She retains the information really well and she is very excited to learn and you can watch her face light up as we explain things. Jorge is doing good, he is super fun but he is very simple minded and so he does not retain the information but he is super interested. We also had a lesson with someone named lupita and she is super awesome. We taught her how to pray and she did really good when she offered the prayer!!  We are very excited to see her progression as we continue but she is very very busy because she babysits every day for the whole day haha. Thats a couple I am personally excited for. We also met someone this week who surprised me because we shared the restoration and he loved it and believed in every word!! We will see how it goessss!! We also have a friend who is about to go to jail. We wont worry bout it. 

We had a walk day this week which was good and exchanges. So I was actually speaking english that entire day. Super good stuff. We also had a cool visit with a bunch of cool mexicans and they gave us manzanita sol and they were totally cracking jokes with us and they were teaching us words and they said they lovvveddd meeee. Gotta go back. 

We also had some member dinners this week which was awesome!! 
They knew some of my close friends back home which was fun. We had some very fun experiences with some people around town but we wont get into that. Note to self (Michael)( for journal purposes)

  Hey!  Hows it going???  This week was a good week, as always. This week was actually really interesting to say the least haha. Had its ups and downs and some weird intereactions. BUT... We got transfers news!! I was informed that I will be Staying!! I will be getting a new companion as well named Elder Nunley! Funny thing is that Elder Nunley was companions with Elder Nelson, (who I trained), in the Mtc! Elder Nunley was also trained by Elder Larsen who was in the trio with me in my first companionship!! Elder Larsen is for real the best so I am excited to get his trainee. We have transfers  this tuesday  so I will let you know next week what is up. I was also asked to be the Spanish Elder Training Leader. I will miss Elder Krenkel for sure. We really enjoyed the area together. Elder Krenkel is actually going to Camarillo where I just was! Christmas!!

  Hey everyone!!! Excuse my punctuation and grammar this email because I am typing on my phone and it doesn't function sometimes soooooo haha. This week, super busy once again because you know me and my companion!!! Super good week packed of work. Ill start with some of our friends. Angel and Isabella they went to their dads house in san diego so we could not put them on date but we still are close. We took a hit this week because lots of people are leaving for christmas. Ramon is leaving the 5th as you know and not coming back for a month which sucks but it's ok. Transfers are really really close too. This is the last week of the transfer. Yea crazy I know. So i might move and get a new companion but i hope i stay with Elder Skinner. We are working really hard and have found some awesome people this week.   We did service for a hoarder today and oh boy was that rough haha. Stuff everywhere and dust and oh my gosh so bad.   Hey!  Hows it going?? This week was a good week, as always We got a lot done and a lot happened this week again. I will jump into it and talk about Gabriela. She finally got out of Quarantine, like I think I mentioned last time, and we called and set up a visit! The next day we got fellowship figured out for her and did our best to work through the rule of 3 and driving and availability. We were going to give her a church tour, even though it would have been a little weird because we meet in the tiny room in the back ahah. We set everything up... and she got hospitalized again. She had problems with her stomach and she got hospitalized. I don't know what is going on.  Miracle came out of that... kind of. A member was able to bring their family some food again so that was awesome. We also got a call from the mission office saying that Elder Nelly had a package he needed to get from the mission office because it was his birthday!! So since the visit fell we were able...
