Little shack but Somis??

 Hey how's it goin!?

This week was a good week, as always.

This week was a lot better than the other weeks. We ended up finding some really interested people which is so good for us and them of course. 

Lets start of with Somis once again. We drove this time so that was good haha. We drove a ton and we never left our area but we had dots closer to Santa Paula than Camarillo haha. We went up in the mountains and oh boy I gotta say that Somis is actually quite nice! Population is microscopic but they have gardens galore and they had a botanical garden there which is sooooo cool!! Perfect for a wedding so if anyone back home is looking for a place then I got you😂😂. So we drove up there, knocked some dots and we knocked this dot and her kid just starts throwing up as we are talking to her through the window. Literally out of no where just barfs all over. So we told her we can come back haha. The next thing is that, last time we went up to somis, we walked very far and knocked this other dot(when I say dot, I mean people. Its the system we use). There house was attached to another house and we ran into their neighbors kid, scary I know. And we talked to him and told him we would come back. Knocked the other door, taught em and set a day to return. Now flash forward to this week. We drive and knock the door of the people we taught and had the dot for and they aren't there. But i had the strongest feeling I needed to find the kid again. I tried to enter there gated yard and his mom came out. She came over and got very excited to see us and put her dogs in the back and then welcomed us in. We sat down and she proceeded to tell us about how 2 Hermanas, over a year ago, came and gave her this book and that she read it. She proceeded to say after that, that she knew this book was from God. We taught her as much as we could without overwhelming her and committed her to church. Sadly satan got in the way and she was hospitalized. She is ok but we need prayers. We hope to visit her soon and invite her to come closer to Christ. We will see what happens. 

We also. Had some fantastic lessons this week. We knocked another dot and walked into the lesson. He had talked with missionaries before as well. During this visit I proceeded to straight, quote scripture after scripture in Spanish and he had no idea what it was. My companion had never heard these Scriptures and he knew they were. Cool stuff. Jorge did a lot better this lesson. We talked about the Book of Mormon but more on the Holy Ghost and I think he retained more. We met Rosa this week too and she is very nice. We got the snowball going. 

We also have a sports night here and for those of you that know me, soccer is not my sport and I suckkk at it haha. But, thats what we do! Pray for me 🤣🤣. 

The last thing I wanna say is that we know all the Homeless people here again haha. We have a buddy Zeal who loves us and we have a buddy Ruben. Oh he is funny. He actually has a house but the things he says,  haha. We have a buddy named david that I have called frank for a while now. Him and Guillermo meet often and hang. They lowkey gang members and hecka scary but everytime I see them, we tell em. Hey! The gangs back together again!! Makes em laugh then they go back to hating us. 

I think that's about it for this week. Transfers are this coming week already. Tjis transfer I have probably grown the most. I never expected this transfer to be like this. Things happened back home, things happened here, things happened everywhere haha. My stress went through the roof and I dont think I have ever had more on my plate. But I can tell you that the Lord was with me. You may not see his hand, so ask to see it and if you take a second to look, but more importantly to feel... I promise you, that you will find it. He loves us. I know he does... because I felt it.
