Easter Sunday in flames

 Hey!! Hows it goin??

This week was a good week, as always. Lots of crazy stuff happened this week not going to lie so here we go. 

First thing is that we had 2 exchanges this week. One with the zone leaders and the other with the district leader. They both were a good time and we had a fun experience. My first exchange, with my district leader's companion, was crazy. First thing to say is that we were blessed to receive some amazing gifts from people in the streets helping us out with some carta food and supporting us as missionaries. Then, a huge building lit up in flames and burned down really close to where we live. We drove over to watch it burn and we watched the freeway become engulfed in flames next to the building. Got way closer than we should have but it was very cool watching ashes fall from the sky and such. 

Next thing is that we walked to a place called Somis. Basically, me and my companion thought it would be fun and also a good idea (because we are trying to save on car miles) to walk to the town closest to camarillo. This was a very fun day, we walked for about 8 hours and it was very fun. Not only that but afterwards we got lots of people telling us that they saw us and that they knew we were determined and they thought it was cool ahah. We didnt eat that night until about 8 but one of the friends we are teaching bought us toppers which is only here in our mission and it is very very good. 

Next thing is Easter sunday!! We walk into the relief society room(where we meet) and they ask me to give a talk!! So, I stood back up and gave a talk in Spanish about the resurrection!! Super fun and very cool that the Gift of Tongues is a thing. Then, we had a member dinner saturday and sunday!! We got fed really well and they were really nice. 

Not a ton of our lessons went through this week. Saul did though so that was good. We have 2 dots left now and bout to knock every members house we have a record for. So good to be a missionary. Fun and fun. 

Little spiritual message for you all is to go on the church website and search for the new easter video. very small but very pretty. So simple, but the way Mary sees Christ then runs to tell everyone, is what we should do. He lives and he is the reason we are here. There are unseen forces of the atonement that we do not see but are motivating us and inviting us to live Christs gospel. I love you all and thank you for your love and support!! Until next time.
