Transfers again??
Hey everyone!! How is it goin?? This week was a great week as always and we got a lot done. Sadly my time with Elder Skinner has come to an end. He is actually going to be a zone leader with the person that trained him!! He is very excited. I am staying in Santa Paula once again. I am a little disappointed because I really want to move around the mission and experience different things and places and meet new people but sadly things are becoming smaller. Here in Santa Paula we have English Elders who work for the English people here and they are closing that area. So now we are a 6 person district. My new companion is Elder Robinson, and he is very cool. I am excited to get to work with him. He is the district leader here now in Santa Paula. It is going to be a very different transfer than this last one. Everything is going to be so small and different that last time. I don't know what we are going to do for district activities, it is going to be me and my comp and a companionship of sisters and then hermanas. It is actually really weird and I don't know what is going to happen but the lord has a purpose I guess.
This week was really good though. We ate cow tongue with someone we are teaching and it totally melted in my mouth. It was super weird. We moved cactus for someone who is moving and it was way tough. It was the same lady who we tried to clean up her house and help her move too. she has a billion things and who won't move out of her chair. ya we moved a bunch of cactus for her haha. The hermanas had a baptism and my companion got to baptize her and I got to confirm her which was so cool. It made me feel good a little bit about my spanish because everyone thought it was one of the best they have ever heard. Thank goodness the lord has my back.
We brought Hector to church and he turned and said that he has never felt the spirit before like that in his life. I am so excited for him and we are totally going to baptize him. He came to church and la familia vaca came to church too! So we got 5 to church and I went and bore my testimony which was cool.
We also went to Ojai this week and got free fro yo!! super good and the people that own the shops are so nice and they give free fro yo to every missionary! Super nice. Not a ton happened this week other then that. Still teaching the normal and everyone is progressing really well so far. I pray that this Transfer is good. Thanks for all your support and love!!
