Risen Once Again

 Hows it going everyone!!? This week was awesome once again as always y como siempre. This week we had a lot of small exciting events here on the mission as a companionship. Spanish is still a struggle as always but I feel the gift of tongues every day. When I come in contact with a person on the street it is like a normal conversation but then like a church it is just down hill haha. But I am really trying. 

The craziest thing that happened this week is Pedro once again. We stopped by his brother Bertodo not too long ago and he said he was interested and said that Pedro went to jail. Pretty crazy.  We go back for another visit and Pedro answers the door like what. We set up another visit and he prepared for us. He set a ton of stuff out for us and set up lights and some water and snacks. It was actually so nice of him. We had a great discussion about priesthood and some other things. We have a return appointment. 

We did not put Angel and Isabella on date this week sadly but we are praying for a miracle. They have a Grandma that is very active and they read the BoM every night. It is so cool. They came to church again but they go to their dad's house for Christmas so we hope they can come to church next week!! I feel like they should already be members but they aren't haha. That's what we are here for though. Had some other great lessons and we found a few people to teach and we are having a great time doing these things. We were teaching someone and they sadly passed away about a month ago and we went back to his wife this week and boy is she ready to receive the gospel. She remembers everything and she is reading the Book of Mormon every night as well. Super cool. 

We went on exchanges again this week and I got to teach someone how the Book of Mormon is true based on history alone and info that it gives us in the book. It was super cool and it made him think a ton because I proved it was true with pure logic and no spirit he was really surprised. That was like my first time doing that so it was cool. I also helped someone addicted to meth by giving him a Book of Mormon and saying that when he is tempted to pray and read. I repeated it a million times and made him repeat it. He didn't understand it the first like 20 times and then finally he got it and he hasn't done meth since. We also saw a crazy dirty house where we could not even walk in which was crazy. Cigarettes all over the place and voodoo dolls and pretty bad stuff. That was crazy too. Thats all I can really remember this week so hopefully it was enough to keep you entertained. I can not wait to keep teaching and doing the Lords work. I wish I was fluent in Spanish but I am trying
