Quetzacoatl es mi Alebrije

  Hey hows it goin!?  This week was a good week, as always.  We had a really good fun week this week it was nice. One of our amazing friends gave us a couple gifts from mexico this week, including mi alebrije. Alebrije is a spiritual guide in the culture of mexico, everyone has one. Look it up if you dont know what it is. I got my alebrije this week and its Quetzacoatl or in other words, the Great White Serpent. Its the indiginous image of Jesus Christ who is the Great White Serpent. Thats my spirit guide. Picture down below. This amazing member also gave us huaraches which are mexican sandal shoes and they are awesome! They are my new church shoes haha. Im super grateful for this member and her children they are all amazing.  We had some exchanges this week and i got to go with Elder Kirk and Elder Winterton and we had a great time! It is good to be around both of those elders. It was mine and elder Kirks First exchange and he came out with me so it was great! We go...

Big fishin N fun

  Hey hows it goin!?  This week was a good week as always.  Lets jump into it for sure. First things first is that my preparation day got moved to Wednesday so i will be sending out my emails on Wednesday now.  This week we saw lots of good miracles and a few baptisms! Had a couple exchanges and not only were fishers of men but yes we did go fishing again haha. Caught some really good ones!!  This week we saw the baptism of a great friend named tony, the Hermanas had been teaching him only for a month and he chose to be baptized! It was a really amazing experience as well. We also were able to do some service for our awesome friends lluvia and Luis and Mine! They took us to get boba haha and it was super fun. I also got to hold a baby goat. We gave all three of them blessings on sunday and the spirit was so strong. I love that family so much.  This last week as well, we got 2 cartón boxes full of starwberries for free jaja, so thats 16 boxes of strawberries...

Transfers

  Hey! Hows it goin!? This week was a good week, as always.  We got transfer news, I will be staying in area with companion and still in 4 man but this time, no leadership assignments! Im super pumped as well. Although we are out in the boonies still, we will make it work. The area is doing pretty good, everytime i mention names in my email it ends up going bad so just keep praying. We had 3 more baptismal interviews this week an another baptism. Also 2 coming up this weekend so thats awesome for the branch. We still working hard out here. We had a blast with the district and I got to go fishing today. No Hay Tiempo

  Hey hows it goin!? This week was a good week, as always. This week was a pretty normal week I would say. Had some great visits with progressing friends and I am really excited to see what happens. Had a great fast sunday and saw another baptism. We have had a baptism in the area every week since I got here. Itd pretty awesome. We also had 3 back to back exchanges. Not much time left for us haha.  First exchange was with Elder Winterton, and what a Great Elder! Next was with Elder Horn and that was awesome too! Finished the day off with some bdubs and boy o boy I like bdubs. Then had one with Elder Wilcox which was great as well. We all got along and worked hard and had a great time together. Lots of visits cancelled this week but saturday was a good day. Got to be outside all day after we had some more rain come and it was pretty cold in the beginning of the week. But it warmed up and it is going good now. Our area was expanded slightly and we cover part of Santa María but i...

Festival de Fresa 🍓

  Hey! Hows it goin!? This week was a good week, as always.  We had a great week full of adventure and some great lessons with great progression. At the beginning of the week, we were able to go to some sand dunes that are down here in my area as a district. It was very very fun and we enjoyed some sand boarding.  Here in the area, there are tons n tons of strawberry fields here and the majority of those that we teach works in these fields, contract just opened up and wowza lots of work. They have a festival here as well called festival de fresa and we were able to get a big family history center in the festival with computers n everything! The stake was in on it and we had the family history consultante run it and we got to help out! Super super fun and really enjoyed it. We couldnt go in missionary clothing because we would look like la migra:/. But ya!! We saw the first baptism in mixtec as well this week. Great things are happening, i got to do his baptismal interview...
