Bendiciones Bendiciones 🙆‍♂️

 Hey! Hows it goin??

This week was a good week, as always.

This week was another busy week and it was and felt a little different. I got slightly sick on tuesday and it stuck with me for the entire week. It wasnt very fun, but we kept going. We met lots of cool people once again but lots of our friends got sick as well so we didnt have some of our reoccuring visits. It is also getting pretty cold here, we are down to the 40s probably during the evening and it hasnt been good for my sickness.

First I wanted to talk about how much the lord is using us here in the area. We have given more priesthood blessings than I ever have. To other missionaries, to ward members, to those in need. It has been amazing to watch the Lord work through us. We also had zone conference this week which was fun. We all had a good time and we talked about baptism and spiritual gifts so it was good. Still been having tons of Spanish calls and I just wish I could do more for some of these Elders and their spanish. I am not quite sure on somethings but I know the lord is helping me.

Our friends are doing good! Our friend maria is coming to church and reading the book of mormon every day and there are some things she still has to figure out but she told us that she really wants baptism. Asuncion got sick so we werent able to have a visit with her but we are excited to get back to it this week. Another one we are teaching is Barianida. She got sick as well but we were still able to pass by with a member and share the restoration with her! She mainly speaks a dialect thats called mixteco so it is interesting to share things with her. We are learning some of this ancient lamanite dialect as well so that is fun.

We helped in a baptism of a man who has waited a lot time to be baptized and we were able to help confirm him on sunday as well! Super amazing to see the excitement on his face and how happy he was. This week I also got to go on an Exchange! It was amazing because I have been out for more than a year right? Well it was my first exchange with another Spanish Missionary! I have never had spanish zone leaders or another spanish elders companionship in my district before so it was amazing for me to experience that. It was a super fun exchange and I loved it so much. I was with Elder Bethers.

During that exchange we met someone that they had been looking for, for a while. He was just getting out of his car with his wife and we didnt even know it was him until we got closer! He invited us into his van with his wife so we got in and had a lesson haha! Super fun and a good memory like that. I have made some real memories here for sure.

The Lord knows when I am ready to help and has given me his spirit to guide me and help me. Thanks to my Savior Jesus Christ, I know that when I look to him, I will be ok no matter what happens. I have made solemn promises with God and I know that when I keep my end, He keeps his. Thank you all for your love and support and I will see you all next week!
