Support from the Lord!
Hey!! Hows it goin??
This week was a good week, as always.
Today marks exactly a year ago from when I was set apart to be a missionary. Crazy stuff!
Super classic missionary stuff again as we are on the grind trying to find new people to teach and helping those progressing. We have stopped teaching lots of our friends and will probably hand off Fernando this week, and maybe Lucky. We have no idea why they are chosing to wait but they both have decided to wait for reasons unknown. We now have 4 people waiting to be baptized. They come to church every day, they know practically everything and just are waiting. If only they would tell us. We pray for them everyday but we need to have the faith to let them go. So now we are on the grind for more!
We have someone named Cristian we are teaching. The lord helped me find him with Elder Krenkel. When I was with Elder Krenkel, Cristian had told us some sad things that had happened in past churches to make him not like the idea of church. He loved God but never talked to him. He wanted to learn more though. I have seen the hand of the lord in his life for sure! He loves having us over and his life has taken a full 360! He prays for us now after I taught him how. He believes us and loves what we teach and is reading and acting and it is so cool to see how much he has grown. Pray for him!
This week we had zone conference as well! It was really fun and President Carter taught us a ton about gospel library. Holy Cow I am building my own library in gospel library! haha it is super cool, you can link things, write things, make pages and study binders and create your own library pretty much. It is super cool. We had some nice food too and I got to see some old missionary friends!!
This week we had a good exchange with the district leader as well and we also went to a good friends house, thats a member, and we had a little fire and cooked food with la Banda for his birthday!! Super cool and fun. The branch here is having a hard time within the people getting along. We have given a few priesthood blessings and such now including to our ward mission leader. Super crazy but we are doing our best. Last thing to mention, Is GABINO GOT BAPTIZED!!!
Shout out to Elder Nelly for baptizing him for me! If you all dont rememer Gabino, just know that he is a straight miracle. Me and Elder Nelly taught him who God was! Such a cool experience. I got to watch over zoom.
