 Hey! Hows it goin??

This week was a good week, as always!

We had zone conference, an exchange, and some great lessons with the area still doing really good right now but also was a little slower when usual. I say that but I think I just got used to the area. 

We had exchanges again on tuesday and it was actually really fun! I was put back into a trio and in english work for the day and we had lots of success! We had some great convos and we also had a great time. While I was gone though, the work went downhill here. Some things happened and now we have to make up for it. 

We had zone conference this week and it was really good! It was cool to hear President Carter talk. He is seriously such a good mission president. He actually came with us to a visit with Fernando! This visit was really cool too. We read in the scriptures and talked a lot about baptism and the holy ghost. He has lots of things going on right now because thats how it works when you are close to baptism. Sadly, he decided that he wants to wait. Me and him are buddies so we will always be there for him as friends, and we are for sure passing by still haha. 

We had a visit with lucky, she is doing fantastic. Super busy still but is making time for us and Is recieving her answer that the book of mormon is true! I am super excited for her and her son Adrian. They will continue and we have a gospel lesson with them this wednesday. 

Mirian and her husband Edgardo came to church! Mirian always comes to church but Edgardo had to work for the longest time. They love us and love the church and are holding fast to the experiences they have had and are progressing really well. Lots of progression still with lots of people. It is fun to watch! Still have lots to do, keep Fernando, Jimmy, Lucky, and Mirian in your prayers!!

This week on... WHaT wE coOkInG??

This week we have 3 mexican red style Enchiladas slowly broiled and cooked to perfection 

Next we have dos tacos de pollo. Softly seasons and cooked until it firmly falls apart in your mouth. Yummy

I was thinking a lot this week about our conversion to the lord. It's often hard to do what you feel is right on a daily basis. It's hard to take what you believe and implement it into your life when so many small things don't seem to matter. For example, the clothes you wear. Or maybe some words you say. There are so many things that tell us to change but... STOP. Those influences have their own agendas.

If we focus our lives on someone else's agenda or something else's agenda, we will complete it and only drag ourselves down. If we focus on an agenda that actually matters in life, like our personal Exhaultation, then we will complete it! No man can serve 2 masters, if you pay more attention to the clothes you wear and how good you look, then you serve the wrong master. If you do what others tell you, you serve another master other than God. Find God's agenda and focus and I promise you that your life will be easier. He has promised help that is humanly impossible to give and he has promised YOU that you will recieve it if we find his agenda.
