Elder Toby Wilson August 23, 2021

  Hey!  Hows it going???  This week was a good week, as always. This week was actually really interesting to say the least haha. Had its ups and downs and some weird intereactions. BUT... We got transfers news!! I was informed that I will be Staying!! I will be getting a new companion as well named Elder Nunley! Funny thing is that Elder Nunley was companions with Elder Nelson, (who I trained), in the Mtc! Elder Nunley was also trained by Elder Larsen who was in the trio with me in my first companionship!! Elder Larsen is for real the best so I am excited to get his trainee. We have transfers  this tuesday  so I will let you know next week what is up. I was also asked to be the Spanish Elder Training Leader. I will miss Elder Krenkel for sure. We really enjoyed the area together. Elder Krenkel is actually going to Camarillo where I just was!   Hey! Hows it goin?? This week was a good week, as always! We had zone conference, an exchange, and some great lessons with the area still doing really good right now but also was a little slower when usual. I say that but I think I just got used to the area.  We had exchanges again on tuesday and it was actually really fun! I was put back into a trio and in english work for the day and we had lots of success! We had some great convos and we also had a great time. While I was gone though, the work went downhill here. Some things happened and now we have to make up for it.  We had zone conference this week and it was really good! It was cool to hear President Carter talk. He is seriously such a good mission president. He actually came with us to a visit with Fernando! This visit was really cool too. We read in the scriptures and talked a lot about baptism and the holy ghost. He has lots of things going on right now because thats how it works when you are close to baptism....

  Hey!  Hows it goin!?? This week was a good week, as always. It was a little slower. We had 2 exchanges and then I got sickkkk. We still went out when i was sick of course i just couldnt talk because of a sore throat.  We didnt have a ton but first I had an exchange with our district leader Elder Johnson. It was good! I stayed and we got a ton done. Had an awesome English class party and some great lessons. The other exchange was with a zone leader named Elder Chang! Didnt do a ton but it was a good day!! Our friend Fernando has not let us know about a baptism date which is sad. He was going to tell us but work slammed him on the weekend and he couldnt even make it to church. Lucky is doing good but I was with Elder Chang when they had the visit so I wasnt there or in the area. She is doing good though. We had 5 to church.  Mirian is doing really well this week!   Hey!! Hows it going?? This week was a good week, as always! This week was still busy and a really fun week.  We had some fantastic lessons with our most top progressing and Fernando, is now praying for a baptism date!! We had 6 to church and it was a good fast and testimony meeting. I translated again and it was so fun. I did a lot better this time, especially translating into english. It is hard to translate spanish into english and it is so much easier going from english to spanish. One of our friends that came to church was francisco! Francisco is the one that is having a hard time walking and such because he broke his spine. We had a great visit with him and he is praying to know if this church is true after a really good restoration lesson with our fire mission leader hermano pacheco!
