Transfers

   Hey hows it goin??

This week was a good week, as always
Yes it is that time again everyone. We got transfer news this week and we have received word that both of me and my companion are going to be leaving! It is crazy because we came to the area together, as you know, and now we are leaving. They are doing what we call a pink wash. That means that both Elders leave and Hermanas come in!! My comp is going down to Oxnard which is the most Spanish submersion ever which is so good for him. I haven't been anywhere like that so he will have to keep me updated.

I am headed down to the east part of the mission and will be serving in a place called Simi! As far as I know, we are once again, the only Spanish missionaries in the area. My companion's name is Elder Krenkel, I have met him before of course and we get along really well. I am super excited to have the opportunity to be with him.

This area in Camarillo, even though the hispanic population is microscopic, is an area I will remember forever. We really saw improvement in the area here and we are really sad that both of us are leaving. We got in contact with Gabriella this week and she is doing amazing. As we guessed, her phone broke and she cant answer calls and barley could type. We stopped by and she said that once she sends her mom off to mexico, she is ready. The Hermanas are going to baptize her. She already knows the book of Mormon is true, her testimony was strengthened from the blessing we gave and she understands most of the doctrine of the church and loves it. We were just waiting for her to be healthy and OK and now, she is. Gabino, is doing fantastic too. I am so so so so sad to leave him. We taught him about who God was and he has been praying every night now. He was really shy but now me and him are like homies and I am so sad I cant teach him anymore.

This week we met a hard core Jew on the holiday this week that they celebrate. He was so cool and he speaks fluent Hebrew, little Spanish and some English. He gave us all the run down of what they believe and holy cow, all I can say is that the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. I am not saying what he believed in was wrong, but pieces and stories line up with other things that blew my mind.

Our English class friends were amazing too. Our buddy tony is literally the coolest dude ever. He is the most giving humble, and hard working man ever. I hope the Hermanas don't ruin it. When we told our little ward group that we were leaving they got upset, we told them that Hermanas were coming in and they got angry haha. I'm not judging I'm just telling a story. The English class took us out to toppers on our last night and paid for our pizza. They also threw a party for us on Wednesday and brought tons of cool snacks. I am going to miss that as well.

A cool thing happened this Sunday too. We walked out of church and someones tire had popped and they pulled into the church and went into the relief society class in English and stayed!! She was from Peru so when we walked out we fixed her tire and she loved it so much. She wanted to come back and so we got her information and are going to send it to where she lives.
