Elder Toby Wilson August 23, 2021

  Hey!! Hows it going?? This was a great week as always. We had a little bit of a hard time again this week because no one is home and I don't know why. We did lots of finding and lots of street contact in the days and all. Me and Elder Robinson get along great!! We are actually trying really hard in the area to get things moving. The ward is doing a ton better though. We had a third hour linger longer and the food was amazing!!! We were out talking to everyone chatting it up. It was actually so fun. Hopefully it stays that way.  We are also trying to start up sports night . We had it  this thursday . We tried to get a ton of people but it didn't work too well. We had a good time though!! English classes are going really well as well. When I got here, we had a solid 2 people and then we went down to 1.   Hey! Hows it going?? This week was a good week as always. Not a ton of crazy cool stuff but transfers happened tuesday and I got my new companion Elder Robinson!! He is really nice and he is from South Jordan Utah. Likes to box and is really fun!! I had to say goodbye to my great friend Elder Skinner and also the other Elders, Elder Foutz and Elder Andersen. Super sad and I hope I get to see Elder Skinner again before he goes to Peru. Super cool and fun though this week but also a grind in a way. None of the people we regularly teach would answer their doors. We knocked on a ton of doors and I think only 1 person answered. Kind of a struggle. We found new people this week which was fun and we are excited to teach them too. But all of our most progressing did not answer their doors so it was rough.  Hey everyone!! How is it goin?? This week was a great week as always and we got a lot done. Sadly my time with Elder Skinner has come to an end. He is actually going to be a zone leader with the person that trained him!! He is very excited. I am staying in Santa Paula once again. I am a little disappointed because I really want to move around the mission and experience different things and places and meet new people but sadly things are becoming smaller. Here in Santa Paula we have English Elders who work for the English people here and they are closing that area. So now we are a 6 person district. My new companion is Elder Robinson, and he is very cool. I am excited to get to work with him. He is the district leader here now in Santa Paula. It is going to be a very different transfer than this last one. Everything is going to be so small and different that last time. I don't know what we are going to do for district activities, it is going to be me and my comp and a companionship...
