  Hey everyone!! This week was awesome and that is a given right?? Christmas came and went just like that. The work slowed down a ton because we lost so many people to the holidays and we also had a zone conference in Santa Barbara and wow that was awesome. It was so long and such a drive that we only got to go to like 1 lesson that night. On christmas eve we had to be in by 6 and christmas we had the whole day off!! So there was only a limited amount of work days so not a ton of progression as well as, on top of all that christmas stuff, we have transfers tomorrow! This transfer flew by!! I am happy to report that me and my companion are staying together in Santa Paula!! Me and Elder Skinner get along so well it is so fun. We are going to continue to kill it this transfer!! We lost our district leader because he has officially finished his mission and so Elder Skinner was asked to take his Place!! Crazy stuff!!   Hey everyone!!! Excuse my punctuation and grammar this email because I am typing on my phone and it doesn't function sometimes soooooo haha. This week, super busy once again because you know me and my companion!!! Super good week packed of work. Ill start with some of our friends. Angel and Isabella they went to their dads house in san diego so we could not put them on date but we still are close. We took a hit this week because lots of people are leaving for christmas. Ramon is leaving the 5th as you know and not coming back for a month which sucks but it's ok. Transfers are really really close too. This is the last week of the transfer. Yea crazy I know. So i might move and get a new companion but i hope i stay with Elder Skinner. We are working really hard and have found some awesome people this week.   We did service for a hoarder today and oh boy was that rough haha. Stuff everywhere and dust and oh my gosh so bad.   Hows it going everyone!!? This week was awesome once again as always y como siempre. This week we had a lot of small exciting events here on the mission as a companionship. Spanish is still a struggle as always but I feel the gift of tongues every day. When I come in contact with a person on the street it is like a normal conversation but then like a church it is just down hill haha. But I am really trying.  The craziest thing that happened this week is Pedro once again. We stopped by his brother Bertodo not too long ago and he said he was interested and said that Pedro went to jail. Pretty crazy.  We go back for another visit and Pedro answers the door like what. We set up another visit and he prepared for us. He set a ton of stuff out for us and set up lights and some water and snacks. It was actually so nice of him. We had a great discussion about priesthood and some other things. We have a return appointment.  We did not put Angel and Isabella on date this week...

  This week was pretty awesome. My Spanish is growing and so are the people in our area. We actually had some pretty awesome breakthroughs this week. This week ya know my spanish is not good but I am really trying hard. We had a couple days this week where we did not speak english which was cool but I still have to work on being comfortable talking to like other missionaries in spanish and stuff. But our area is awesome right now.   I think I mentioned Angel last time in my email and we met his younger sister isabella. They had come to church in the past and we got them to church last week. We taught them again and we showed them the video of Christ being baptized and after Isabella told us to baptize her. It was actually really cool. Isabella is only 9 and Angel is 13. They seriously retain information like none other and I am so excited for them. They want to be baptized so we just need to talk to their mom.
