Elder Toby Wilson August 23, 2021

  Hey hows it goin!? This week was a good week, always.  This week made my life feel different. We usually have zone conference on week 4 of the transfer but this time is was week 3! We had Zone conference this last tuesday. It was a good one and talked about some great stuff. How to be better teachers, and how to find people to teach better as well. I was able to learn. Im definitely looking for more right now in terms of learning but i feel as though it is tough to come by right now. We had a couple of hot days, got up to like 80. Had an exchange with Elders Alford and Winterton and it was good. I was with Elder Alford, great Elder! Had some great lessons with our friends and saw some progression with them as well. Hoping to continue. Found a couple new english people who are really interested! To say the least, they need the gospel!   Hey! Hows it goin!? This week was a good week, as always.  Another week down and area is doing good! We drive alot, like alot alot haha. Its pretty far between cities and houses ect but its a good time thats for sure. I was able to do a couple more bautismal interviews this week as well. One for a man who cannot hear nor speak but wow that was a cool experience. His name is santi and he is in mid 20s maybe and loves Christ so much its awesome. He has created some signs to be able to communicate himself better and at the end of it all, I learned enough signs to bear my testimony. I now can communicate with Santi as well! Its different than normal sign language haha. It was an amazing experience to watch how he signed certain historic events of Jesus Christ. Reminded me of who He is. It was a great opportunity. We did great work with our friends this week as well. Still LOTS of filtering of past friends and such but it is all going good. We were able to see the bautismo of ano...

  Hey hows it goin!!? This week was a good week, as always.  So, here in my new area with my new comp Elder Ray. Hes actually so fun and so funny I miss days like these ones. We got up to Santa Maria and into our area and I love it! We cover outside of santa maria so we are out in the boonies haha. We cover SO many little small towns its crazy. We have a truck so we are straight vibing thats for sure. Its been really fun but a TON of driving. We drive like 100 miles a day its crazy. I love it here though and the district is awesome as well! This week i was able to do a baptismal interview for miguel and I have the oportunity for a couple more this week! I was able to meet most of the friends we are teaching in the area. Doing my best but some we cant get in contact with. I had to say goodbye to lots of people in ventura and it was tough but a good change.   Hey! Hows it goin??  This week was a good week, as always.  Transfer news, im leaving going up to santa maria! First time going north and I am super excited. Getting a new companion Elder Ray and I am super excited! I cant wait for the opportunities I will have over there. I will miss this area for sure without a doubt, Ventura was one of my favorite areas especially the ward and just the area in general. This week was warm.  We have 70 degree weather right now without a cloud in sight. Its beautiful weather and I love it. This week was a good week as well. We had some REALLY good visits with some of the families we are teaching and I am super excited to see what happens with them. Found another family this week and the mom is so cool. Named talia and has 2 daughters. Super nice and I cant wait to watch to see what happens. One thing i am looking forward too is the spanish, I think my new companion likes to speak!
