Elder Toby Wilson August 23, 2021

  Hey! Hows it goin!? This week was a good week, as always. Wait no it was a Great week! First and formost I got to go to the temple. Holy cow I love that place. I felt so happy and SO eager to be there I was literally jumping up and down haha. It is such an amazing place to be. Lots of people talk about how amazing the temple is but one thing that I have learned is that it is very individual. Many say "What an amazing experience" when nothing happened haha and thats ok. Going to the temple takes preparation such as questions, prayer, fasting, and a constant thought on Him. I did have a really cool experience in the temple thankfully. Ill tell you later The drive to the temple was awesome, passed Malibu and drove ocean side for about an hour. This week I also had 3 exchanges with Elders Aposhian, Packard, and Jackson. Hey! Hows it goin?? This week was a great week, as always. We had Zone conference this week which was super fun and we learned all about commitments but also how to help returning and new members. Its a big part of missionary work that I didnt even think about before my mission. Here in my area, a lot of inactive work is done. Its a good time. We saw lots of different kinds of successes this week with many of our friends. Got to have a few of our friends in the home of a member and we had dinner together it was great. Had a great visit with a small family and helped other families as well. The missionary work here is tough I will tell you that haha. Its great to be out here. We are working with a couple new part member families as well and its going really well, as well as reactivation with others and it is going good! We were able to spend lots of time with Tiffany and Frank and doing our best to help them with their struggles. I went to Camarillo again to get "surgery" done...

  Hey! Hows it goin? This week was a good week as always This weel was a pretty crazy week. Got a stomach bug and boy it did not treat me good Ill tell you that. It lasted the whole week but I think I am getting better so its all good. We saw some ups and downs but everything was good! We were able to do lots of great work! First was a great opportunity to give a few blessings this week again. The power of the priesthood is real everyone. These people came to Christ with so much faith in him and we saw miracles. We were able to be apart of that which is amazing to me and I am so grateful we have the blessings of Priesthood and families in our lives. We did lots of walking on tuesday but when the bug hit me we decided it wouldnt be good. We had exchanges though which were great. We had 2 exchanges actually.   Hey! Hows it goin!? This week was a good week, as always.  It snowed this week in ventura on the beach. Sign of the times. Stay warm, obey the commandments and stay faithful.  We had lots of success with the members and the size of the ward has probably doubled since Ive been here and lots are coming back to church. We saw actual miracles this week for real like not just cool hand of the lord but like priesthood power miracles. I am so grateful we have part of the power and authority of God here on the earth today. He is a God of miracles and will never let us down. We had the oportunity to help out a few members this week as well and it was a good time! We found some awesome people who are really really looking for a change and also some who were looking for a change. My favorite part of the work of the Lord is teaching a family. Ive taught many and still to this day, explaining eternal families is something I will never get bored of. This gospel is real. La hermana Ol...
